Red Devils Stuns Buccaneers

Graham pushed 15th ranked Bartlett Yancey all over the field tonight, as the Red Devils rolled to a 2-1 victory in soccer tonight.
Ontonniel Echeverria notched both goals for Graham. Echeverria blasted in his first goal at the 23:00 mark. His goal was assisted by Ty Osborne. Echeverria blasted another shot in the 71st minute mark from 20 yards out. His shot ricochetted off a Buccaneer defender past the Buccaneer's goalkeeper Jeremy Pattishall, giving Graham a 2-0 lead with 9 minutes to play. This goal was assisted by Christian Blanco.
Bartlett Yancey took advantage of a breakdown in Graham's defense, scoring with a minute remaining in the game to pull within 1.
Goalkeeper Luis Camacho recorded 5 saves for Graham.
With the win, Graham moves to 4-6-3 overall, 3-3-1 in the Mid-State 2-A Conference. Graham faces Reidsville tomorrow, October 14th. |
