Lady Devils Record 1st win of 2009 Campaign

Junior Kaytelyn Storey pitched a complete game no-hitter this afternoon to lead the Lady Red Devils to an 11-0 season-opening conference victory over visiting Carrboro.
Storey struck out 8 batters, and only issued one walk.
The Red Devils were led by catcher Brittney Williams, who was 2 for 2, with 3 RBI's. Taylor McCann was 2 for 4 with 2 RBI's. Shelly Waggoner reached base all three times via walks, and scored twice.
Mandy Fellea was the losing pitcher for the Jaguars.
Graham travels to Durham Friday to take on the Bulldogs of the Durham School of the Arts. |
